The adventure continues!

I have said it before and I will say it again...I am the luckiest girl in the whole wide world! Life is one big adventure and I am so thankful for its delights. The ability to manifest your desires is amazing. I am looking for a life partner. One that is interested in marriage, children, working together to make a difference in this world for our children and their children. Each new relationship I have tends to be better than the last as I emerge with a new perspective and understanding of myself. This new relationship with Roman looks very promising. Yes, I know, they all do in the beginning.. I have high hopes every time that this time he is the one! I hope he is able to keep the excitement and adventure alive! It's a team effort for sure! After racing in the Colombus Day Regatta, I know that we work together well as a team. If you ask me it's team christi. If you ask him its team roman. How about we merge it into team christi-roman or roman-christi? We shall see what the future brings! I know one thing...it's alot of fun!

Infinite Possibilities

The world is so much more expansive and open to us, much more than we could believe. The opportunities that present themselves like magic just fall into place like a perfect jigsaw puzzle. Have you ever asked yourself the question, "If you could do anything in the world and money was no object, what would it be?" I have been asked that question and my answer is, "Travel". When I was going through my first transformations, going from Owner of retail clothing store to....turned into fitness, personal training (a whole other story within the story!!!), the images of what I could do and enjoy doing was travel around the world doing outdoor adventure things wearing clothing/gear by companies wanting input and promotion and write about it in an adventure/fitness/lifestyle magazine. I was looking for my new career matching the following criteria: 1) I never had to wear a suit to work or work in an office ever again. 2) I could make my own schedule 3) I could meet and interact with new people everyday. 4) It had to be in fitness. 5) I had to make lots of money.

Ok, the money thing...my association to money and my "needs" have changed since I set those qualifications. So now when I read "make lots of money", my associated "mass" of "money" is a much smaller quanity to meet "lots". All is well and happy without massess of massess of things and massess. Less is better, leaving room for more....

So as I go through these stages of life, life is giving me the experiece necessary to have the tools to travel around the world and get paid to do it and love every minute of it. Richard, Michele and I are the combo of three. Michele and I resonated on the power of 3. Richard has been attracted and we are co-creating together. We will be traveling the globe on EcoAdventures and sharing our tales as we go!

This gal shall be telling tales of late nights and little sleep if I don't hit the hay NOW! Sleep well my friends.

Could it be a seasonal thing?

There seems to be a pattern emerging around this time of year. Change. Major change. Change for the good, always. Another lesson learned, another layer removed, the next step closer to the real you. Getting past all the BS that has been left behind, embedded within or taken upon, it harbors us down unless we are able to get from out from underneath of it. Relationships can come and go in our lives acting as the tide washing out the old and bringing in the new. New energy, clean energy, high energy. Raising the vibration and riding a higher frequency.

This higher frequency lady is hitting the hay to revive those frequencies!

Only 2 Degrees

We live in this expansive universe among millions and millions of other people, yet every where we go and everywhere we look we see people we know and find people of those people knowing other people and our other people know some of their people and time and time again we are reminded that this is a small universe in which we are all connected to and with in and with each other. Such cause and effects brings us to those moments. Those moments of ah-ha. Those moments of awe and wonder and belief all at once. This life that we live is so precious because we are creating the reality that we see. What we see is what we believe. If we believe in the possibilities, then those possibilities becomes our reality. When you follow the signs and follow the frequencies, your intuition will lead the way. Anything is possible. When you are participating in something that is good for the whole, then you are part of the positive equation. That means all parts fit together with harmony, in balance and without force. You "ride the wave" of good vibrations.

Check out these two ladies, DJ and LV, who followed the signs and rode the wave and now they are traveling the country making an Internet radio talk show called Only 2 Degrees. You can find them at http://www.only2degrees.com/. Thanks to Judy Hull at the Islamorada Chamber of Commerce, these two ladies were able to interview some of us Upper Keys locals for their international show! By going to their website you can hear the show interviewing me about Pilates in Paradise and the history of Pilates, Tom Smith, "The Wine Guy", who is part owner in Tasters Grill and also Tony from the Green Turtle about wine (one of these ladies favorite past times, other than exercising and adventures!). The name of the show is a spin off of 6 degrees of separation. They realized that in their small California town, there really was only 2 degrees of separation. Now as they travel and connections are made and the Internet takes their adventures around the world, the connections become closer and 2 degree stories start to emerge.

Times are changing and the technological age is upon us. It is amazing the information that is available at our fingertips that is retrieved from where? The Internet, this unseen, omnipotent thing is responsible for instant connection and communication. Doesn't that just seem amazing? If we can send information from the Moon and back, then we can nurse our small planet back to health.

We are what we eat, what we drink, what we breathe. As we "green" our habits, we "heal" our planet, we "heal" our bodies. The planet, as a whole, is a breathing, living organism with a frequency too. We must raise our frequency, lighten our footprint, increase our awareness and enlighten our consciousness that we are all one, we are all connected and when things are in line and aligned, that there is harmony.

I have so many 2 Degrees stories. Widen your lens, open your heart and believe in the infinite possibilities and watch those 2 degrees pop up everywhere!

As the world turns

The world keeps turning in circles and we can't even feel it. We are flying through space so fast we can't even tell we are moving.

If you stand on a boat with your eyes closed. You can feel the movement beneath you. That feeling is the connection to everything, everyone, everywhere, all at the same time.
The possibilites of the next moment is infinite.
The future is now.

The existance of this planet is recorded to go back in time more than we can really fathom. We are so lucky that this planet and it's atmosphere is as durable as it has been for us. In the last 200 years, we have managed to cause more damage to this planet that the last couple million put together! Most people have had the mindset that everything is inexhaustible. We are learning that is not the case. We have limited resources, limited space and limited time. If we were to stay on path of destruction, our time line for this species would be short lived, unless we found other planets to take over and rape.

The raping and pillaging of races, nations and planets are over.

We are entering a time of enlightenment. This species is waking up and reaching higher levels of awareness and consciousness. We will reach that critical mass creating a massive quantum shift in thinking. One by one we are self investigating and changing our programing. We are raising our frequency, attracting more like-minded people, to create a world of harmony, peace, and sustainability.

Infinite Possiblities

Wow! Wow! Wow! This universe is such a beatiful peace (yes, punnfully placed) of orchestrated possibilities. When you are working for the betterment of the whole, it's like the sky's open up. I was seeing a vision of a KeysWide EcoWeek, but putting it off until 2011 because of it's magnitude (or my preception creating this feeling of magnitude). I am humming at incredible frequencies that are close to uphoria, total bliss, complacent, happiness. I feel my thoughts, my words and my deeds playing out before me. It's like I am watching a movie and in perfect harmony I coast from one scene to another as everyone co-mingles and co-creates together. There are many wonderful people on this planet that love this planet and want to help heal her. We heal ourselves in the process! Being able to work together for the common good of the whole. EcoWeek 2010 Florida Keys. We launch our kick-off party on Wednesday night in the Upper Keys at 6:30 at Amoray Dive Resort, www.amoray.com. Without your presence, these chain of events would not have come to be. Each one of us are a catalyst. We are co-creating together. Kelly has created this amazing logo for EcoWeek. We are unveiling it tomorrow night. He is sooo talented! He is an amazing painter, philsopher and writer, and he does phenomenal things with photoshop. I am happy that he is being involved and wants to be! Not just because he is there by default. He believes as I believe so we share a common vision of peace, harmony, sustainablity and higher consciousness. It is nice to have a partner that is on the same frequency.

Tomorrow is a new day with infinite possibilites unfolding before me. I am going with the flow, following my instincts and staying true to myself. What a fun ride!

The planning process

Michele and I are working....working?....together tonight on Eco-Week 2010. I am so happy that Michele and I are working together again. We flow together so easily. We really thrive off each other. Inspiration at it's finest. Creativity flowing!!! Go GREEN!!! She is so amazing. I am so lucky to be surrounded by such amazing people. We are even working on making this a Carbon Neutral Event! SO FUN!!!!

I am missing my compost toliet on the boat. We had to give it back to Bob and Jane. It was so cool that they gave us their brand new one to try to see if we liked it or not. I loved it. I bet Kelly loved it more because we went two weeks without having to dump it! Our portapoti we (Kelly...Thank you Kelly) dump it almost two times a week. I miss sitting outside over looking the water and the mangroves, letting my body work through it's cycle. MMMmmmm..........

To be that easy

Can it really be that easy? Can life just unfold and be in harmony? Yes. When we allow it. It sounds so easy to do, but how often do we mind f**k ourselves? Kelly just wrote a poem about it being that easy. As he is learning through himself, and I am learning through myself, we are learning together about what works for us and how it works and the ways that we make it "uneasy" and then the ways that we make it easy. I like the easy way. I like things to flow. If something isn't flowing smoothly, then something has to change. I am going for an attitude adjustment right now. Off to the floating house to take a mid-day nap, or maybe a swim. We'll see what the universe has in store for me!

Always changing

There is one thing that is constant...that there is always change. Forever is a very strong word. I am realizing that you cannot be attached to a concept or belief of something being forever. When you have that attachment, that means you are holding on to something that may not be there and you may be forcing or trying to control the hands of destiny. The Universe has it's plan for us and we may be able to influence that plan with intention, but you are not the only player in your destiny. Others in your existence may have a different path and you just may be a pawn in their journey. One thing I do know...is that I don't know! I am okay with that. Life is an exciting adventure. You must always make sure that you are following your bliss. Your happiness is your natural state of being. When you are unhappy, something is leading you astray. Find your happiness and you will find your way.

Eco-Week 2010

There are so many amazing things that happen in my life. When everything starts unfolding in front of you, you really have to take a step back, take a deep breath and say, "I am READY!". I am notorious for having a lot going on. I am always every where, being involved in everything. But, what I have really been doing, is just finding out exactly where and what I want to be doing. Right now all the things that I have passions for in my life are coming together and melding together so perfectly that I feel that I am not "working" at all. I am having fun while I am doing it! My desire to promote the importance of our environment has been handed to me on a silver platter with the EcoGuide Florida Keys because this publication is really just a tangible piece of a whole movement. I have been enveloped into this moment and I am pulling together our community for the good of the whole. We are creating EcoWeek 2010, an Annual Celebration of the Environment. This inagural event will bring everyone together to promote and celebrate our beautiful environment and the fun we have in it while being conscious and aware of our actions. We are becoming the Green Model for Florida, and maybe even the rest of the nation. Thank you Universe for your abundance of health, wealth and happiness.

Eco-Guide of the Florida Keys

I have been so fortunate to have met Richard Stewart, Editor of Ocean Realm Eco-Destinations and the publisher of the Eco-Guides. This man is amazing. He has been promoting sustainable eco-tourism to save our planet for many years. He was brought to the keys under the guidance of our Tourist Development Council (thank you TDC and Stacy Mitchell!!!). This printed and online publication educates our locals and our visitors alike on the preciousness of our environment. This guide connects us globally to reach potential visitors and relocators. He also has an online radio show! His business partner Ken, joined Richard and I at the Key Largo Chamber of Commerce luncheon. Ken has an online blog talk radio show on Wednesday at 1pm called Liquid Lounge. He used that time to talk to some of our business owners as to what they are doing to be GREEN!!! YEAH! Back in the Saddle

Yes, yes, yes. Back in the saddle again. Blogging away like I have never been gone. Looking at my last entry makes me laugh. Lots has changed since then. Yet, another boyfriend. THIS TIME IS FOREVER!!! I have been looking for mr. right for me. Mr Senstive. Mr. easy to communicate his feelings. Mr. Trustworthy. Mr. Spirituality. Mr. Adventurer. Mr. Mom (yes, must want kids and wouldn't mind being at home with them!). Mr. Christi supporter. Mr. Community supporter. Mr. Athlete. Mr. Healthy. Mr. Compassionate. Mr. Teacher and Mr. Student. Okay, I hear you. Do I really need ALL those Misters? NOOOOOO.....because I have found all of that rolled up into one. Kelly Hostetler of Spirit Dance Art is an amazing creature with so much love, compassion, and talent. Finding someone who speaks your language and shares the same visions, understandings and lifestyle habits is such a wonderful blessing. I am truely blessed.

Blessed is an understatement! I live on a boat now. Talk about learning about CONSERVATION! I am living my dream of being GREEN!!! Solar panels, wind generator, harvesting rain water, and more to come! We are looking into getting a compost toliet! I will keep you posted on how that goes!

I am in a very happy and healthy relationship. Kelly hasn't eaten red meat in over 30 years. Dairy is VERY low on the list of foods that he eats. He doesn't have a taste for alcohol so much any more. He is a healthy eater filling himself with loads of fruits and vegetables. For someone at 55 years of age, he is in better shape than I have seen men 30 years younger. I look better because of it too! His lifestyle makes it easier for me to stay lean. No bottles of wine at night with dinner. No heavy meals with read meat and dairy. I have been told that I look as lean as when I was bodybuilding! I have lost 8 pounds in the last 6 months. My last relationship had much different (completely opposite) eating habits. It didn't take long for the extra fat to creep over my muscle structure because of all the excess toxins running through me.

Every relationship that you are in, whether its a friend, co-worker, associate, mother, father, brother or lover, you learn from each other. These relationships are mirrors of ourselves. The mirror that I am looking into makes me smile. Damn, I look good! And I feel good too!!! My Nutrition and Holistic Lifestyle Coaching has been helping many others look and feel their best too. I love sharing the love!

back from Italy

Italy....what an amazing place. I love that country. I really just love traveling in general. I flew to Madrid then onto Rome. The airline Iberia is such a great airline. It reminds me of what flying used to be like in the US. There was certainly a general consensus of the people that I talked to from so many different countries on their perception of the American Culture. Every thing in America has to be bigger. Super-sized if you will. Even the AMERICANS themselves! We have gotten so wrapped up with wanting MORE that MORE is never enough. For the most part people are empty and trying to fulfill something to make them feel whole or successful. When really they are just feeding their ego and not really feeding themselves.

I am reading Eckert Tolle's new book, Awakening to your Life's Purpose. This book Oprah did a weekly podcast with Eckert Tolle to help AWAKEN our consciousness. What an amazing book. I never realized exactly how much I was feeding my ego. I knew that I felt empty inside a lot of times and that I had high aspirations for myself. Always wanting more and always being in the future and not enjoying the present. I have talked about before how hard it is for me to be present. I AM NOT ALONE! This is the way most people are. Their minds and egos are running them rather than just BEING.

When I started my mediation practice, that was the closest that I've ever been to being present. I felt so energized and connected to God, Source, The Universe, whatever it is that you want to call it. Since December, I've have lost that connection. The deep peace of consciousness of being present. Not that I have lost it completely. Once you've had a moment of enlightenment, that awareness stays with you...unless you get lost in your ego again.

My relationship with my boyfriend has been a wonderful learning ground for me. I have noticed quite a few times in conversations that I get very defensive, and I have to sit back and see where that comes from. Most of the time its my EGO reacting. It's been interesting to watch the transition of how my reactions are changing as I become more aware of the root of the reactions.

I really enjoy learning more about myself and growing into a better person. More real. I want to feel peaceful. Not anxious. Truly happy with everything that I have and the uncertainty of life. That uncertainty is very exciting. When you are in Present Time Consciousness the world is so much more than we could have fathomed. We are interconnected in such a way that can make your mind blow! I LOVE IT!!!

There is so much more than transpires everyday. I inspire you to slow down, observe what's around you. Look at life with an attitude of gratitude. Take a moment to sit and be still and just BE. Wondrous things await.

Holy Smokes!

I just laugh. Life is so funny. The last time I've written in this blog was 5 months ago! It's hard to believe that 5 months have passed so quickly. A whirlwind they certainly have been!

I read the last entry. Resolutions. The athlete, the fire, that I am ready to bring out...well, is still churning inside just dying to break free. Have I given it the opportunity? Not really. Dancing with our Island Stars was certainly a physical challenge. I had such an amazing time and because of my athletic ability, I was able to perform at levels that most dancers take years to do. (Pat myself on the back!) BUT because I was dancing, and raising money for The Florida Keys Children Shelter AND helping to organize a Relay for Life AND running a business AND trying to fit in time with my boyfriend...my ME time was pushed aside. Thank goodness for Pilates. Pilates has really my savior.

I pulled my hamstring half-way to my dance performance. Pilates pulled me back together in NO time flat. I have had no problems since then either! Since I have not been disciplined with my cardiovascular exercise like I wanted, Pilates has come in to save the day and give me the work-out, the energy, the challenge and the stretching to make me feel on top.

The craziness of the season has finally come to a...ha...can't say halt...just a slow-down. I have rode my bike a couple or three times. I LOVE it! How exhilarating! And GREEN! Save on gas and carbon emissions!

I am off to Italy today for a week for a fun business trip. Micah is off to a vet conference in Rome and I'll jut up to Florence (really it's: Firenze-when in Rome...) to see my friend Laura. Spend some time drinking amazing wine, walking the streets of Florence and teaching some Pilates. Isn't life grand? I am so excited to share this trip with Micah. Our first traveling trip together! We make a good pair. I am sure traveling in Europe will be nothing but exciting adventures laced with food, drink, laughter and love. All the finer things in life!

This is a well deserved trip after a whirlwind of a winter. Time to let my hair loose, rejuvenate the spirit and celebrate life and love!

Resolutions

The first of the new year is always a great starting point for releasing old patterns or habits that no longer serve and introducing new patterns and habits that work toward the growth and betterment of your life. I just finished taping my radio show for this Saturday, www.easy969.com at 8am. This is the second annual Year End Wrap-up. My good friend and producer, Pam Godfrey and I got to talk about the joys and experiences of this past year and what we have to look forward to in 2008.

As a New Year's tradition, we tend to make resolutions for the upcoming year. My resolution this year is the same as its been the last couple of years. Balance. Since we are always in a state of constant change, we are always needed to find a state of balance. At the start of 2007, my intentions with "balance" was directed toward my need to give myself more "me time" with things that rejuvenated me. 2006 was a very busy year and I knew that 2007 was going to be the same. I needed to find a state of peacefulness in the midst of all my choas.

Thankfully, I found a strong spiritual and meditation practice. I attracted friends who hold those same ideals and principals and developed a very close-knit support group. 2007 was an amazing year with tremendous change and growth.

As I start 2008 with a clearer, more centered and peaceful focus, my resolution of Balance now has a different intention. This year it is my intention to get back the athlete in me that had some time to rest. My body/my soul needed different attention last year. This year I am looking forward to getting back to nature and waking up the animal instincts that have been hibernating. Running, biking and swimming are my new additions. I am fortunate enough to have Kerri in the studio. She has taken the early morning clients and has allowed me to have "my time" in the morning. This year has also brought me a new boyfriend. He is also my partner. We will be doing our morning jaunts together! YEAH! Having someone with you is a real plus! You are more likely to stick to a routine or work-out regimen when you have someone to do it with. For me to be able to share this with my lover, it is just heaven to me.

I have a lot to look forward to this year. A new relationship. A business that is flourishing with more on the horizon. Expanding my healing abilities with a new technique called Lifeline. Many wonderful continuing education seminars with Romana and other pilates masters. Learning to dance and competing in our local, Dancing with our Local Stars. Running for Queen of the Black and White Ball. Going to Tallahassee for Advocay Day for the American Cancer Society. Sitting on the Keys Division Board for ACS. Being heavily involved with GLEE, the EXPO, and the Upper Keys Green Team. And sooo much more. It is truly going to be an exciting and fun filled year. I will also be having lots of fun with friends. AND I plan on traveling a lot too.

I want to wish everyone greatness for the new year. Set your sights high. You can achieve anything you want. With determination, will, and a positive attitude, you can reach the stars. Make sure that you are working for the good of the whole, and that greed and ego are not the underlining reasons for your "goals". Take into consideration our environment and each other. Try to put back in society any abundances that you may have. What you have too much of, someone else is lacking. Keep giving back and giving to others.

New Beginnings

When one door shuts another door opens. Haven't you heard that before? Well, it's true. If you want things to come into your life, but you are holding on to things that no longer serve you, those things that you want won't come because there is no room! Releasing that hold on low vibration thoughts, relationships, possessions, jobs, etc. will not bring you down. On the contrary! It will only make room for what you really want. Higher vibrational thoughts, relationships, possessions, jobs, friends, etc.

We tend to stick around or hold onto things in our life that we know deep in our gut (when we listen) that isn't the right thing for us...anymore. They served a purpose. They taught you a lesson. There was a reason why you experienced it. BUT does it have to be forever? Could you have received that lesson and now ready to move onto the next? Could it possibly be that the relationship has ran its course, you have evolved into a higher conciousness, and now it's time to move on? ABSOLUTELY! We have to be comfortable knowing that the universe is providing everything that we need. We just have to know how to ask for it.

When you know how to ask for it...watch out! It comes at you full speed!!! I have been manifesting at amazing speeds. Everything that I am asking for or looking for is coming my way.

I attended a conference in Tampa called I Can Do It. The keynote speaker was Dr. Wayne Dyer. He is an inspirational speaker. He is truely a gift for us. This weekend was exactly what I needed to confirm and secure my belief in myself, my connection to Source (God, The Universe, etc), and my purpose. I found the answers that I had been searching for. My meditation practice is in full swing. I have been meditating for 54 days now. There has been only 3 days of those that I was not able to. Talk about a high! When you are connected to source, you truely are working from Spirit. This means that your "intuition" is spirit talking to you. This is working from inspiration. When you are working from inspiration, then you truely have the ability to manifest your destiny through intention.

I have always been able to create my reality through positive thoughts and intention. I had a deep intuitive understanding of the workings of the universe. My "future" intentions were not only based on "intution" but also ego. Recognizing that ego is not a place of spirit allows you to understand that you cannot manifest from ego. The universe does not hear you. As my personal discoveries are allowing my programing to be "reprogramed" and old thought patterns and belief systems that were embedded because of my past environment experiences are released, my connection to source has been emensely hightened. Manifesting and creating my reality is surreal. I am sooooo honored to be a part of this universe. And it is humbling to understand my place in this lifetime.

I have been gifted with a strong connection to source with amazing healing capablities. As I continue this journey, I am amazed every day the gifts that are before me, being handed to me as so I can share them with others. I am truely blessed.

The conciousness of our fellow man is lifting. I see it everyday. We will ultimately reach a level of consciousness that will allow us to live in a state of uphoria of peace, harmony and happiness.

Thank you everyone for the ability to learn from each of you and experience your energy. We are all one. I am you and you are me. Together we will be, forever.

I will say it again as I have said it before. Life is amazing with it's gifts. When you are open to your possibilities, the universe provides the avenues for you to create the life, the visions that you see.

I have had the opportunity to spend 4 days in Orlando recently through the American Cancer Society and get to know the organization at the root. MAN!!! What a power team of people with visions and missions and belief that we will eradicate cancer!

Many of you know my beliefs on the toxicity of our environment linked to cancer. WELL, guess what! They are not only doing research as we speak to find a cure, but getting to the root, the cause. Genetic mutation is a problem that we face. But what causes genetic mutations? Chemicals? Where are those chemicals? How do they react? What is the catalyst that ingnites the action and reaction in our skin, in our organs, in every cell in our bodies? We, the American Cancer Society have 40 nobel lauretes working on answers to questions like that and much, much more.

I have told many people that it is my personal mission to infultrate the American Cancer Society and start creating change first within the organization to see the cause and stop feeding the cause! It is working! I am stimulating and creating change! One day the American Cancer Society will be the face of Wellness and Prevention for healthy living to PREVENT CANCER!!!

Genetic mutations can happen easily. But just as easily change and repair can happen to the DNA. Those chromosomes CAN repair and regenerate. And once that repairing stage is set in place, every generation after that comes out ahead with a better chance of not having a mutation to begin with. BUT we must not feed the body what causes the mutations to begin with!

I understand that it will take awhile. But think about how far in the WRONG direction we have come so quickly! In three generations, we could make SIGNIFICANT gains in the health and vitality of the human species.

I must commend the American Cancer Society for all of it's efforts. The research that has been done and the new treatment methods that have been developed has made it possible for the rate of cancer deaths to decrease and the quality of life of those battling to be significantly better. They take care of the hearts and souls of individuals as well.

I am so proud to be involved with this organization. I just can't say enough about it. They are evolving, just as the rest of us. I hope to be a major player to help them achieve their mission. People like me and people like you have the ability to create change. We have to have the convictions and the courage to stand up for what we know is right and stand behind the ones that have the power and voice to evoke change.

It's a Wonderful life

Tonight was a dream. The party was such a great success. There were sooo many people there tonight. I hear from 150 -200. People I haven't seen in a long time. People I see often and people I have never met. There was an age frame that ranged from young kids to mature adults. The energy of the place was amazing. The food was spectacular. The drink selection was superb. And if I do say so myself, the demonstration was the highlight of the evening.

Dave Feder was so great. He had his friend Mark playing wood instruments. Funny that his CD was in my collection and I didn't know who he was until the end of the night.

Everyone had a great time, including me. I felt so loved. I had so many friends around me to offer support in many different ways.

I tout myself as a lucky girl. I think I am the luckiest on the planet. Tonight was better than I expected. But really, I try not to "expect" anything. I follow my gut and the universe provides much more than if I would have spent hours agonizing over and calculating and stressing over what I expected or what was "supposed" to happen. The universe is an amazing place when we are open to it.

There is this other place inside of us that is the ruler of this being we are in. Our mind tends to get in the way of that inner self. That inner signal, frequency, vibration that we have to the planet and everything beyond.

We live in a magical place. Everything doesn't have to planned, mapped or analyzed...ALL THE TIME...When things are right, they fall into place naturally. Not to say that you don't have to work at something. But when you have the understanding that you are in the right place and things are as they should be, you let go of all the anxiety of what should have been or what might happen. That's when the world becomes magical. We all have special "magical" powers. It is the ability to increase your vibrational energy and the energy of others around us. We have the power of conscious thought and decision making. We have the ability to make change. We have the power of self healing. We have the power of the universe. We have the power of one combined with the power of many.

Those are my thoughts for the evening. I am off to my bed where I will be falling to sleep with thoughts of bliss and happiness dancing in my head.

It is officially the Grand Re-Opening party day. The adrinaline is running thick in my veins. I have spent many late hours working on some of the few finishes touches on the studio. It is such an amazing space. I am enjoying it emensily. It feels light, airy, calm, refreshing, and energizing. It is a space that is totally me.

My body and my brain are shutting down for a good nights rest before the big celebration. It is late, but pure excitement of the beautiful things to come and the comfort of what is has kept this candle burning. But no more burning at both ends. It is almost 1am and biological repair stops at 2am. Not much time for healing tonight. Good thing I do pilates. Tomorrow I will feel so much better. Pilates. It does the body good. Pysological repair starts at 2am until 6am. I'll get all of that. Good thing...I'd hate to be called CRAZY!

I can't wait to see all my friends tomorrow (today) for the celebration! Yeah!!!

It's been so long that I've written that I forgot my password! he-he. easy fix.

It's really here. I have the new studio that I've been dreaming of. It's been so fun creating it. The best part is that I am doing it alone, but I am not alone. I have the best support system a girl could ever hope for. A boyfriend that is thoughtful, sincere and very loving. A new employee that I like to call boss. My friend Ruth is now my Operations Manager. I love the fact that we work together. She has been the glue, the engine, the wheels... the smooth operator. My friends. What an interesting universe we live in. I have been brought a circle of friends that keep expanding on a daily basis. I keep transforming everyday into a new person. Each day better than the last. I am attracting those that want to transform themselves too. I am going through this journey sharing as much as I can to anyone who will listen. Life is joyous. We live on an amazing planet. We are coming together to live in harmony, peace and health. Why would we want anything else? As we like minded people come together, we create an energetic vibration that has a return vibration that is even higher! We can rise to the top.

I always say that there is no "I" in team. Who else says that? I wish EVERYONE!

Our journey through life is supposed to be us, discovering ourselves, and giving to the planet what we are put on this planet for. To give. To solve. To survive in total balance and harmony with the earth and with each other. You are where you are because that is where you are suppose to be. I love where I am because I have the ability to embrace myself and let me live and I see INFINITE POSSIBILITIES.

The hardest part of BEING that I have found is being present. Being PRESENT. Totally connected. It's hard to stay present. I am looking for a mediation practice that will help me calm myself in the middle of all choas. My organized choas circling around me and connecting and landing when the student is ready for the lesson. Bring on the next lesson. I am waiting, able and willing to keep learning and developing. That's the fun part!

the next stage of health

In 1999 I started paying attention to my "weight" by exercising and eating right. The path that I started with has been an ever changing, adapting lifestyle of finetuning. FINETUNING. I love that word. As we learn more information on differences between what we think is healthy and what really is healthy, it is very easy to get discouraged and think negative thoughts about the path that we had been following before we were enlightened about this new piece of information. What do I mean by that? Well, I think about ALL the really bad, distructive things I have done to this body of mine. I think about the "healthy" foods (or non-foods as I call them now) that I consumed. I think about the toxicity in my lifestyle of the past. And then I realize that each day as I learn more about the planet, the purity and bioavailablity of food with the connection to nutrition as a medicine, and the importance and application of detoxing impurities and toxins out of my body; I see that this lifestyle, this path, this journey that I have been following is going to contintue to enlighten me. I have sucessfully gone in 1999 from a size 13 to today, a size 5. My quest for "health" and my defintion of being "healthy" has certainly changed. "Healthy" used to equate to "fit" or "fitness level". Now "healthy" is much more than just physical appearance and ability, but whole body health. That is mind, body and spirit. I have been searching for the ease of living without compulsion, addictions, fatigue, and much more. I most recently did a hair analysis with our local health food store, Remedy's. What an amazing revelation that was! I had high toxic amounts of aluminum, cadmium and mercury in my system! What does that mean for my health? A WHOLE LOT!!! They have been interferring with the absorption of vitamins and nutritents and causing major syptoms of hyperactivity, suger sensitivity and addiction, brain fog, fatigue, acne and much more. I am so relieved to finally have something to tell me exactly what is going on inside this body of mine so that I can step into the next stage of my health. That is having a body that is free of inhibitors, allowing my body to operate as a beautiful, sysnergistic organism with the ability to do great things. I feel so good about the fact that when these toxic metals are out of my body, I will have the freedom to naturally feel my best. My children and their generations to come will have such an advantage because there biological blueprint will be starting at a strong, uncompromised state. This is how we will change the direction of the health of our planet. We do have the ability to rid this planet of disease. It starts with us as individuals. I never really liked spending time in front of the computer. Computer jargon really went over my head. "Surfing" the net was definately not a passtime. I used the computer for necessaties and nothing more. Most recently I have been involved in a new project that has taken me on this intertwining, exciting adventure on the web. I can't believe how much information is out there! There is no exuse for anyone not to be educated. The hardest thing is getting lost! There are so many links to every possible tidbit of information on any topic of interest! I was taping my radio show with Lyndsey McGlasson from Midway Cafe in Islamorada yesterday...make sure you tune in this saturaday at 8am on 96.9fm OR http://www.easy969.com/. The topic of conversation is sustainability and "green" in relation to coffee. As this is a topic of research for me...I have to encourage all of you to take a peak at "greeening". It is a nice surprise to see how many organizations are giving back. Generosity and love are still alive for this planet and those on it!!!

The internet is an easy way to connect with others and find a pluthra of information that intices and ingnites the mind. Make sure if you do spend a lot of time in front of the computer that you step away and stretch your legs. Please don't forget to stretch your chest, shoulders and neck area. We all sink and shift into tight compressed balls when on the computer. Have a balance between to enjoy painfree surfing.

thoughts of reason

What is the reason that we (as a society) have to be so wasteful? I have been getting more and more involved with the environmental problems that our planet is having. The more that I learn, the more reality looks so grim. We are living in a giant toxic trash can that we have created ourselves. Why? For convienience? Mostly. How can society have so many convieniences but yet be so lazy? With as much effort that has been put into making our lives "easier" for us, we should have a lot more time for SELF CARE. I encourage everyone to research plastic. There is so much about plastic that makes my heart hurt. My heart hurts for the shear pain of what we have been doing to our planet, ourselves and the many generations to come. There is a sybiotic relationship that happens in nature. Every relationship has a give and take. One creatures waste is another's life. There is nothing ever left over. When food and natural occuring death and decompostion happens, the breakdown becomes life giving back into the soil to feed the growth of the next stage of life. We have become accustomed to lavish abundances while creating so much toxic eccess waste. You can see it all around us. Look at the waste that is sitting in us and on our bodies. When you think about the wastefulness of plastic due to convienience, also realize that every piece of plastic that has ever been made is still sitting on this planet. It will not biodegrate. It is not part of that sybiotic relationship. It is toxic to ourselves, our planet and all the generations to come. I am making a concious effort to be mindful about my wastefulness. It is hard because we are all living in a state of convienience. And also know that there are many people out there (as you may be one of them) that are working hard to change the direction that we are currently heading. There will be less death from disease. We will eradicate cancer. There will be cleaner oceans. There will be cleaner air to breath. We will not become extinct. We are survivors. We will take the knowledge and power we have to make our lives and our childrens lives a better, healthier place...and it's convieniently the right time.

perfect?

At 5:30am, walking the neighborhood with Max the wonder dog, while taking in the sounds, smells and sights of the morning, my thoughts were directed to the word and the implication of "PERFECT". What is perfect? Who and what is perfect? Is perfect one of those unattainable pressures that we place on ourselves? For a long time I had the notion that I had to be perfect in order to be loved...in order to be complete...worthy. Perfect? I am not perfect...and I LOVE not being perfect. If I were perfect then life would be quite boring. Every experience we have in life is a gift. A lesson. A chance for growth. What kind of experiences would I have? What kind of fortunes would I miss? If I were perfect all the time...I wouldn't even know what I had because I had never known anything different. What kind of big head would I have then? Nah. I like the quirks. I like the fact that I am not PERFECT at everything. That means that I have the gifts of wonderful people who bring their abilities and strengths to my table to make my life more complete. We all have those "holes" in our abilities. Once we recongnize them and embrace them, then we have the ability to fill them with OTHERS! Interaction. Eb and Flow. Yin and Yang. Give and Take. Linear is no fun. BORING. and I am not BORING. Perfect is boring.

life is magical

Do you ever question the signs? What signs? The signs that let you know that you are heading in the right direction. The signs can be something as small as an article in the newspaper with information that you have been looking for to as big as the new job offer right when you needed it the most. We have the ability to manifest our own destiny. If you have the vision to see what it is that you desire out of life, but don't have the roadmap to get there...just look for the signs. Sit back, enjoy the ride and follow the signs. Don't try to map out with too many specifics. If you get caught up in the details, you miss the signs leading you in the direction you are supposed to be going. It normally is better, easier and more fruitful than your "planned" route. You must not work against the energy of the universe. If something is not happening as you had planned. Good. Let it play out as it needs to. Learn the lesson that is being taught and watch for the signs. Those positve feelings, signs and "coincendences" are there keep you going in the right direction. Follow your instincts. Don't fight it. You are right. Life has amazing things for all of us. We just have to believe that we are good enough. What are your life desires?
